Introduction to BodySoul: A Marion Woodman Foundation Seminar
Set at Trinity Center in Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina, with Bogue Sound on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, we are pleased to announce this brand-new seminar, an introduction to the experiential understanding of the BodySoul Rhythms® process and the pioneering work of Marion Woodman on "embodied Jung."
In this Introduction to BodySoul we invite you to join us as we weave together a rich, colorful tapestry of myth, fairy tale, dreams, movement, voice, and the creative arts. Working with the fairy tale of Cinderella, we will explore the depth of the material in terms of our personal stories and dreams. Jung's theory of the shadow will be explored experientially through natural movement, deep relaxation, playful voice exercises, drawing and painting, all tools to help us face and befriend unknown aspects of ourselves. The process releases untapped energy, while enriching our appreciation of who we are in our depths and heights.
This workshop will be taught by Paula Reeves, PhD, who taught annually with the original BodySoul Rhythms® team for more than 17 years, and Mary Hamilton, MEd, who was one of the three original BodySoul Rhythms® teachers/founders of BodySoul Rhythms®.
Trinity Center provides a variety of modern facilities and comfortable accommodations. Located on 62 acres, they offer conference facilities, swimming pools, indoor and outdoor chapels, ocean beach frontage, sound-side docks and numerous walking trails.
Accommodations include the following: each room has one double and one single bed, bath with stand up shower, a dresser, vanity, and nightstand with alarm clock and reading lamp and are individually heated and cooled. Linens (bed sheets and towels) are provided. To maintain the retreat atmosphere the Center has purposefully left out the TV, telephone and internet in the rooms. They do not provide daily maid service.
Single Room Fee is $1,689 (Tuition is $1,225; room and board is $464)
Double Room fee is $1,609 (Tuition is $1,225; room and board is $384)
Fee includes tuition, 4 nights lodging and all meals starting with dinner (April 14) and ending with breakfast (April 18)

If you cancel before February 14, we will refund your fee less $100. After February 14 we cannot refund your fee unless we can replace you in the program. We will do our best to do this. If we can replace you (after February 14), we will refund your fee less $250 plus any charges incurred at the facility. We must have notice of cancellation in writing.
Programs will not be canceled if one of the instructors can't attend. If any instructor is unable to attend, a similarly qualified colleague will substitute. We cannot refund your fee if one of the instructors cannot participate. Once enrolled, if you must transfer to a different program, a $100 transfer fee will be charged.
